Practice time is important and needs to be done at sub-maximal loads to be effective. In warmup and drill sessions we use a PVC pipe, empty barbell and light load to reinforce good movement patterns. When this transfers over to higher load is when we become more efficient at moving and making gains at a steady rate. Use the practice time to really dial in your movement!
