A muscle up is a upper body pull, a little magic in the transition, and an upper body push. Working the skills of the pull and push are the basics of achieving the movement then drilling the transition once you have the prerequisite strength. Work the big movement patterns to lay down the solid foundation and then start practicing the transition in as many ways as possible!
